Turntable + Effector + Any Music = Dubstep Bassline!
The latter being a basis for producers' attention made many laptop producers come out with their secrets on how to make the jumping bass using different software, mainly Propellerhead's Reason.
While you can follow the traditional way of doing so, someone has apparently found a way to do this live - no, not with $10,000 MIDI controllers/synths, but with a set of Vestax VCI-300
All of this was done by cutting a loop in halves until it becomes a simple noise, and then passing the result through the VFX1
Many other effectors are also capable of this, the Vestax one now being on the affordable side for under $210 (Original price: $359.99).

so you can lower that price if you want.
Peace,
